Elizabeth Haberer, LCSW
Elizabeth maintains a private practice in Houston and Austin, TX and is the Clinic Director in Texas for Depth Counseling, a group psychotherapy practice offering accessible psychoanalytic psychotherapy in Texas and Illinois. She is an advanced candidate in Adult Psychoanalysis at the Center for Psychoanalytic Studies Houston and holds a certificate from the James T. McLaughlin Training Program in Psychodynamic Psychotherapy at the Pittsburgh Psychoanalytic Institute. Prior to establishing her private practice, Elizabeth worked in various community mental health settings as a bilingual therapist and subsequently as a clinician on the Compass unit for young adults at the Menninger Clinic, where she also supervised clinical interns and fellows. She has presented widely about trauma-informed care and served as adjunct faculty at the University of Houston Graduate School of Social Work. Elizabeth is interested in the intersection of somatic and community-based clinical modalities with psychoanalytic approaches and holds a certificate from the Psychedelic-Assisted Therapies and Research Certificate Program at the Center for Psychedelic Therapies and Research (CPTR).
